About CHAIRITY

Chairity2

Our STORY

Sit with purpose. Leave a legacy.

CHAIRity was born from two worlds colliding—the hospitality industry and education. After 30 years in hospitality and a lifetime of believing people deserve to be seen, heard, and valued, CHAIRity became the answer to one simple question:

“What if one chair could change someone’s life?”

Meet my mom Grete Beck. A school teacher for the Spring Grove School District for over 30 years, and died in a car accident in September of 2011. She changed the lives of many students, parents and community members.

Meet Marc Kephart.  Father, son, uncle, brother and best friend to our founder Juanita.  In May of 2018 he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma and died the following July. He was a graduate of Spring Grove High School and served the County of York as a Corrections Officer, Deputy Sheriff, and Probation Officer.

Our MISSION

CHAIRity exists to create meaningful change by turning everyday seats into opportunities for connection, generosity, and healing.
We hope to create a CHAIRity chapter in every state where communities come together to heal, serve, educate, and inspire one another—one chair at a time.

The chair represents connection, inclusion, healing, and change.
